The director is charged with the protection and promotion of the Saint Joseph College image. The director is responsible for the implementation of the Communications Plan, overseeing the College's marketing, advertising, publications, and Web content. The director builds and maintains relationships with the media, acts as College spokesperson, and coordinates the College's internal communications. The director directs projects coming from the Office of Admissions and the Office of Institutional Advancement to the Office of Marketing and Communications and works with the faculty to solicit story ideas for the media and/or internal publications. The director is the point person for projects with vendors who support the College's marketing and promotional activities. The director is also executive editor of Outlook Magazine.

Laura Sheehan

Laura is responsible for the creative development of the College’s printed pieces, social media content, and video stories — with the goal of maintaining the College’s brand in all materials. As such, she oversees SJC’s: YouTube channel (serving as videographer and editor); Facebook and Twitter pages; and student/faculty blogs. She also serves as editor-in-chief of the College's magazine, Outlook, and writes and edits for the SJC Web site, the Office of Admissions and other College-wide editorial and promotion material.

Kathryn Gaffney

Kathryn is responsible for the production and development of all College publications. She provides layout, type, design and camera-ready materials. She also hires free-lance designers and photographers, solicits all printing bids and coordinates the deadlines for and delivery of materials.

Cheryl Rosenfield

As communications coordinator, Cheryl is the editor of the weekly e-newsletter Campus Update, editor of the Class Notes section of Outlook magazine, and a contributing writer to Outlook. Cheryl also writes press releases and media advisories to notify the media of campus events and updates the Web page with current news and events. She maintains the College's photo file and books photographers for College events.

 

Kathie Kentfield

Kathie oversees the College's Web site presence on the Internet. Kathie works with various constituencies of the College community to populate the site with clear, concise, accurate text and to ensure that all submitted documents meet SJC publications standards. Kathie also provides training for the content management system used by departments to maintain information on the external Web site.

Connie Seehoffer

Connie maintains the office files and records in context with departmental procedures. She is also project manager for College publications, advertising, and special projects including Countdown and Commencement. Connie is in charge of the budgets and ordering of supplies for the Office of Marketing and Communications. She proofreads items as needed and advises team members as to upcoming deadlines.
