Human resource certification preparation
This intensive 12-week program is taught by SHRM certified professionals, and was developed for individuals seeking certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). It offers an in-depth study of key areas in HR Management. Materials include six extensive modules that correspond to the six functional areas, responsibilities, and associated knowledge defined by the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI).

Course investment
A course fee of $1130.00 includes the SHRM Learning System® print modules, online learning software or CD ROM, access to the online Resource Center, instructor handouts, and 36 hours of classroom instruction. To allow time to order your course materials, please register by August 31, 2012.

The HR Certification Institute has made some changes regarding recertification terms.
Q. Can a person with their PHR or SPHR designation take a SHRM Learning System course for recertification credit?
A. No. Below are the circumstances where a certified professional can earn recertification credits via the SHRM Learning System.
If you have earned your GPHR, you can earn up to 35 Credit Hours based on classroom contact hours for a University or College SHRM Learning System Prep Course. The course at Saint Joseph College meets this criteria.

PLEASE NOTE: Commuting students need a permit for campus parking. Please bring your car registration to your first night of class. A representative from the college will be there to issue you a parking sticker which is valid through August 2013. The parking fee is included in the tuition.
