CEDU 760 - AAMFT Approved Supervisor Training Course

Tuition:  $595.00*

The Marriage and Family Therapy Program at Saint Joseph College will be offering the AAMFT Approved Supervisor Training Course beginning in September 2009. The Supervisor Training Course focuses on the skills and knowledge necessary for supervising family therapists working with diverse and challenging populations. The course prepares you to meet your supervisees' needs, combine supervisory methods with your preferred style of therapy, address ethical and diversity issues within the supervision process, and act as evaluator and gatekeeper for the profession. The 30 hour course includes didactic and interactional instruction methods.

The Course will be held on Tuesday evenings from 7:00pm-9:00pm (unless otherwise noted):

September 15 & 29, 2009 

October 13 & 27, 2009

November 10 & 24, 2009

December 8, 2009 

January 12 & 26, 2010

February 9 & 23, 2010

March 9 & 23, 2010

April 6 & 20, 2010

 

The course is taught by Patricia Gorman, Ed. D., Associate Professor and Director of the Marriage and Family Therapy Program at Saint Joseph College. Dr. Gorman has been supervising family therapists for the past 20 years; she is an AAMFT Clinical Member and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor.
