Marriage & Family Therapy
Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy
The 52-credit Master of Arts Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is designed to provide students with a solid core of knowledge about marriage and family therapy and to train students to become professional marriage and family therapists. The curriculum includes at least 12 consecutive months (3 semesters/500 hours) of clinical internship. The Marriage and Family Therapy Program at Saint Joseph College is nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Marriage and Family Therapy Education (COAMFTE).
Graduate Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy
The 12-credit Graduate Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy offers a sequence of graduate level courses designed to enhance the skills of school psychologists, social workers, counselors, nurses, and other professionals in related fields. The program is customized to complement each applicant's strengths and weaknesses.
