Saren Cassotto grew up in Winsted, Conn. and currently lives in Canton with her husband and her yellow lab Talcott. As a college student she lived in Utah, but decided to move back to her home state because of its beautiful seasons and easy access to shopping outlets, beaches and cities. Now that she's back in Connecticut, Saren enjoys playing with her dog, playing the piano, shopping at her favorite stores (Banana Republic, Sephora and Pottery Barn) and spending time with her husband and friends.
She is currently working on a master's of arts degree in Education at SJC. Her favorite part of working in Admissions is connecting with students and families on an individual basis. Saren loves that Saint Joseph College is small enough to allow her to make a difference and to personalize a students' journey to college. Saren works specifically with all the transfer students at Saint Joseph College, as well as all the local community colleges.
When she's not working, Saren loves to soak up the sun. She enjoys kayaking and going to the beach. One of her true loves in life is baking - she is always trying to perfect her recipes for all things baked, including triple-fudge brownies, apple pie and cakes of any kind. Saren welcomes any bake-off challenges sent her way!
