Nance has a passion for education, not only for herself, but also for others. On her desk she keeps the following words which reflect her professional beliefs: "access, affordability and achievement." Nance enjoys talking to students about the college search process, helping families secure financial aid, and witnessing the transformation of students from their first year through graduation.
Nancy received her B.A. in Social Work and M.Ed. in Education from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. She completed her course work and is currently working on her dissertation for her doctoral degree in Higher Education, Administration and Supervision at Seton Hall University.
In her current position as director, Nancy oversees the admissions staff and ensures that all aspects of the office function smoothly. Having worked in higher education for more than 20 years in a variety of positions, Nancy believes this is the best staff with whom she has worked!
Outside of the office, Nancy enjoys antiquing and traveling with her husband. Three of her favorite places are St. Lucia, Greece and Russia. She is fan of professional sports - especially the Red Sox. She and her husband live in West Hartford with their two cats and their Saint Bernard - Fenway!
