FIRST YEAR ORIENTATION & WELCOME WEEKEND 2010
The Orientation Program at Saint Joseph College consists of two parts:
Part 1 - June Orientation days where first year students come to campus and register for their Fall classes.
Part 2 - Welcome Weekend in August
Welcome Weekend 2010 will take place Friday, August 27 through Sunday, August 29
This weekend is for all first year students including commuters and is the time when new students get connected with Saint Joseph College. Welcome Weekend is required as part of the First Year Seminar (FYS) course so please make the necessary arrangements to attend. This is a weekend filled with both fun and educational events to help students prepare for their journey at Saint Joseph College. Welcome Weekend is also a great opportunity to connect with and meet other first year students at the college.
Resident Students – please arrive to campus between 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on 8/27/10 to obtain your room key and move into your residence hall room.
Commuter Students – please arrive to McGovern Lounge on 8/27/10 at 2:30 p.m. for commuter check in.
A letter and detailed schedule of Welcome Weekend will be mailed to all first year students in late July.
