At Saint Joseph College, community service means learning beyond the classroom and enables students to combine academics and social consciousness. The Office of Community Service promotes, supports and facilitates service as an integral part of the teaching and learning experiences of faculty, staff and students.
The goal is to raise the awareness of the Saint Joseph College community to social justice issues through "hands on" involvement in serving others. Our belief in the value of community service stems from our desire to affirm the value and dignity of all people.
