Tickets and Admission

This year’s Annapolis Cup is sold out. Beware ticket scams and resellers. Tickets are not valid for resale.

All attendees, including children, must have a ticket to enter the event. Please make sure you have access to the QR code you were sent via email when you arrive for the event; this is needed to access the event area. Entry gates will close at 4 p.m.

Tickets will not be available on the day of the match.

All attendees must enter one of the designated entry gates and wear an assigned wristband for the duration of the event. All attendees must show their identification at the gate to verify age. Anybody without a government issued identification will be given an “Under 21” wristband. Guests should use the following gates (all gates are ADA accessible):

  • Gate 1: USNA students (King George Street entrance)
  • Gate 2: General Admission Guests, SJC faculty and staff (College Avenue entrance)
  • Gate 3: General Admission Guests, SJC students, faculty, and staff (McDowell Hall entrance)

Reentry is allowed with issued wristband and security screening. Security reserves the right to not readmit attendees in violation of code of conduct. Tickets are nontransferable and not valid for resale. Ticket scalping is considered a violation of the ticketing agreement and will result in a permanent ban from the event.

The event will be held rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, the event will be canceled and not rescheduled for a later date. Please be sure to check your email in the case of inclement weather.

4 p.m. Alcohol sales end
4 p.m. Entrance gates close

6 p.m. Croquet match ends
7 p.m. All guests must be departed from event area

Food and Drinks

Picnic food and sealed, nonalcoholic beverages are allowed. No outside alcohol is permitted. Coolers and bags are subject to inspection. Grills of any type or size are not permitted.

Food and beverage (alcoholic and nonalcoholic) will be available for purchase through vendors on campus.

Drink purchases will be made through credit cards digitally attached to the attendees’ wristbands. This is a cash free event. Your wristband will allow you to purchase food and beverages during the event.

Water refill stations will be available. Guests are encouraged to bring an empty refillable water bottle.

What to Bring

Guests are not permitted to set up or reserve spaces before 10:30 a.m. on the day of the match.

Only lawn chairs, blankets, strollers, and tables lower than two feet are permitted in the area around the match site. No tents, large umbrellas, or grills allowed. Signs, regardless of size are also not permitted.

Guests must remove all items from their spaces and leave trash and recycling in designated areas.

All personal items must be removed from the campus grounds by 7 p.m.

What Do I Wear?

The Annapolis Cup is a fun time to dress up and show off your St. John’s or Navy spirit. Afternoon dress is suggested for this event. Summer/spring dresses, hats, lightweight sport coats, and ties are some of the attire customarily worn.

Code of Conduct

Attendees will be required to abide by the Code of Conduct. Failure to do so may result in being denied entry to the event, removal from the event, and potential banning from future events.

Smoking or any controlled substances, including cannabis-containing substances, are prohibited.

Event Photography

Photography and video recording will be taking place throughout the entire event. Admission to the event implies that you agree to be photographed and filmed. Generated content may be used for marketing and promotional purposes. By attending the event, you agree to waive your rights to privacy.

Parking

Handicapped parking is available in the Chase Stone lot and is available on a first-come first-served basis.

General parking on campus is prohibited.

Free weekend parking is available at the state garage at the corner of St. John’s and Calvert streets.

Paid parking is also available at nearby city lots.
