Many St. John’s students go on to graduate studies. The Career Development Office assists students in planning for graduate school in several ways.
Each semester, Career Development offers information sessions from a variety of graduate programs, as well as information for how to apply. Once students have identified graduate programs that match their interests and aspirations, they are encouraged to schedule an appointment with Career Development to make a detailed plan for application.
Plan elements include creating a timeline; preparing for exams like the GRE, LSAT, GMAT, or MCAT; editing application essays; securing faculty letters of recommendation; and review of each element of the application package before submission.
Career Development staff assist students with each step of their plan to ensure they maximize their chance of admission to the programs they have chosen.
