The U.S. Department of Education released its final Title IX rules on April 19, 2024, with an effective date of August 1, 2024. As an institution that received federal funding, the College was required to update and amend the policies governing Title IX.

The Title IX Sex-Based Harassment and Discrimination Policy governs all reports of alleged misconduct that occurs on or after August 1, 2024.

The Title IX Sexual Harassment Policy and the College Sexual Misconduct Policy will continue to govern reports of alleged misconduct that occurred before August 1, 2024 regardless of when it is reported to the College.

All members of the College community are encouraged to review these policies and to be familiar with the definitions of prohibited conduct, reporting options, and investigation and adjudication process. Any questions should be directed to the Title IX Coordinator on the appropriate campus.
