This volume consists of the transcripts of three conversations that took place at St. John’s College in Santa Fe, New Mexico, in April 1977, as part of a conference on liberal education. Participants were teaching faculty from Saint Mary’s College, Thomas Aquinas College, Univ. of California Berkeley, and Notre Dame.
